A. We do! All of our remedial therapists are health fund providers. HICAPS is available for easy, immediate refunds, so please bring your health fund card with you to your appointment.
A. Your first appointment will include a thorough assessment of your postural analysis, a functional test of your musculoskeletal system and one-on-one discussion about your particular ailments or concerns. We will then create a treatment plan specific to your needs.
A. A remedial massage is a deep massage technique, which enables the skeletal muscles to return to normal health after an injury. It’s also used to treat conditions created by lifestyle impacts, such as repetitive strain injuries and back pain.
Our massage therapists have a thorough understanding of the anatomy and physiology. This helps us to determine where to treat our patients as well as identify the source of the biomechanical dysfunction. We treat the source of the problem, not just the symptoms.
A. The primary aim of remedial massage isn’t to relax but to fix a mechanical problem within the body. However, this type of massage can also help:
- Improve sleep
- Increase vitality, performance & mobility
- Treat tendinitis, shin splints, groin strain, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, hamstring injuries, plantar fasciitis, whiplash & more
A. We require at least 24 hours’ notice to change or cancel an appointment. Last minute cancellations or no shows may incur an administration fee of 50% of the treatment price. Please call or email our friendly staff to reschedule your appointment.
A. Each of our massage therapists are trained in Australia and hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy HLT50307. One of our therapists has also completed a Bachelor of Sports and Industry.
A. The average appointment time is 1 hour, however you can choose between 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on your needs.
A. Yes there is. There are several free council parking spaces at the front of our building. We’re located on the first floor, so please let our friendly staff know if you need assistance walking up stairs. You can find a map of our location on our contact page.
A. We’re open Tuesday to Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
A. Our massage therapists are available for trigger point therapy, Chinese cupping, manual lymphatic drainage, muscle energy techniques and reflexology.
